Maybe surprising to some, but there are a lot of car owners who do not know the difference between an MOT and a Service. We will end the confusion and tell you below.

Service

A Service includes looking at how long car brakes will last, fluid levels, filter plugs etc. This is all dependent on manufacturer recommendations, age, miles driven.

MOT

An MOT is a bog-standard safety test which ensures the vehicle is to the minimum standard to be on the road. There’s no guarantee that the vehicle will be safe for the duration of the certificate, but more is safe at point of inspection.
